It is the mission of Black Flag Athletics to utilize proper training patterns, techniques and methodologies in order to facilitate an increase in performance, decrease injury and enhance quality of life in a community based, peer driven environment.
Black Flag CrossFit is constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement.The goal is to improve fitness and general physical preparedness. You will not see any “machines” in our gyms other than a Concept 2 Rower or an AirDyne Air Assault Bike. You will see a combination of: sprinting, rowing, jumping rope, climbing rope, flipping tires, weight lifting, carrying odd objects, box jumps, barbells, dumbbells, gymnastics ring work, pull-ups, kettlebells, medicine balls, and many bodyweight exercises. CrossFit is for everyone, regardless of your experience or fitness level. Each workout is scalable.
